Technical Note 504

Excelerator 2001 "crashes" on a random basis.

Solution:

504.1. The Microsoft Office Assistant (paperclip) may be interfering with Excelerator.

• Launch Excel without starting Excelerator 2001.
• Hide the Office Assistant by right clicking and selecting Hide Assistant from the menu.
