Receiving "Unable to load Microsoft Excel Library" when starting Excelerator 2000 in Windows 95.

Description:

When I try to launch Excelerator 2000, I receive the message "Unable to load Microsoft Excel Library".

Solution:

500.1. Install operating system patch from Microsoft.

Excelerator 2000 makes use of some communications which were not originally released as part of Windows 95. There is an operating system patch for Windows 95 available from Microsoft on their web site. Download the file dcom95.exe from Microsoft.

The Microsoft web site also contains instructions for the installation of the patch.
